Our mission

is to develop people

into fully-devoted

followers of Christ. 

At Vision Christian Church, we seek to embrace people with the person of Jesus Christ.  We envision sharing Christ with thousands of people in the Westside area and seeing many accept the offer of love and grace found in Christ.

We envision developing all our of our people into fully-devoted followers of Christ through celebratory worship services, relevant classes, and vital small groups.

We envision people-friendly worship services that celebrate the glory of God with understandable expression, music that is participatory with the best of both old and new, communion that is open to all believers in Christ, teaching that is biblical and excitingly relevant, and prayer which easily speaks to our living God.

We envision multiple classes for all groups and ages, where Bible knowledge and Christian skills are applied to modern needs, and where each member is a part of unique congregation of disciples.

We envision a church of multiple small groups where our people model biblical community: cells within the church where learning, friendship, service, and prayer can develop.

We envision helping all of our people to discover their divine designs so they are equipped to serve Christ effectively in a ministry either within or outside our church.  Our goal is that every member be a "minister."

We envision welcoming numerous people of diverse backgrounds into our church who are excited about Christ, experience Christ's leadership in their families, and grow together in love.

We envision offering multiple opportunities for worship, classes, and groups with a variety of times to fit the busy lives of people in our area.

We envision recruiting and supporting many people to be sent out as missionaries and church workers all over the world.

We envision building a facility that will accommodate our growth and be easily accessible.  This facility will be ample for worship, classes, Bible studies, and youth activities.

We envision adding staff that will help equip our people for the ministry to young people and children, to help us develop vital small groups, to create a strong marriage and family ministry, and to expand our expression in music.

We envision constant improvement in our maturity and abilities as God uses His Spirit, His word, and His church to transform each of us into mature Christians.
